Back Roads Touring Group began in 2002 and has brought together motorcycle enthusiasts from across Eastern Ontario and beyond. Built on friendship, respect and a shared love of riding, the group continues to create lasting memories on the open road.
Our History
Back Roads Touring Group began in 2002 as the Bikers Falls Touring Group. In 2004, the organization adopted the name Back Roads Touring Group, reflecting the scenic roads and shared adventures that have become the heart of the organization.
A Legacy of leadership
For more than two decades, the group has brought together motorcycle enthusiasts from across Eastern Ontario who share a love of riding, friendship, and community.
A significant part of the group's history is owed to Ken Carter, who served as President for 22 years. Through his leadership and dedication, the group grew into a respected and welcoming riding organization that continues to thrive today.
Some of our original members remain active today, helping preserve the traditions,friendships and memories that have made Back Roads Touring Group such a special community.

Today, Back Roads Touring Group continues under new leadership with jim Titus, while remaining committed to friendship, respect, safe riding, and a shared love of the open road.
